Saxophone

The saxophone is made of brass but because it uses a small single-reed to make sound, it is a member of the woodwinds. The player places the reed on a mouthpiece, puts it inside their lips, and blows. To change notes, the performer presses different key combinations. The saxophone is a small section in the band.
